Level Mount FAQ’s

What if there is not threading in the bolt holes on the TV?
The TV manufacturer have the threading in the bolt holes for our mounts to
work so the best idea would be contacting the manufacturer of the TV to find out
what mounts they suggest to use.

Will this mount work with my TV?
If it meets the measurement requirements and the bolt hole pattern on the back of the TV that mount should work.

Will the 4 bolts in the studs in the wall be sufficient?
When installing 4 bolts it is sufficient and you can put the other 2 bolts in the wall at your own discretion.

Why can’t the tilt arms hook over the wall mount when the horizontal bar is in place?
You can choose whether to use it as a fixed or a tilt mount and do one or the other. Use the horizontal bar for
a tilt mount.  Do not use it if you wish for the mount to be fixed.

Bolts in packaging do not match the bolt holes on the back of  TV?
Contact the manufacturer of the TV to get the measurement of the correct bolts and you can request Level Mount to send the correct bolts.

What if the adaptor plates that came in the packaging do not fit  TV? It is 16-inches from top hole to top hole on the back of the TV.
Level Mount will ship out the 16-inch adaptor plates free of charge and those would be mailed out on the next business day by regular mail.

Will our mounts work for 400 VESA pattern?
Our mounts will support this pattern and if additional adapter plates are required then Level Mount will send out at no additional expense to the consumer.

How can I purchase more wall plates for his mount?
You can purchase these additional wall plates at our online store on the website.

What if my TV exceeds the amount of inches the mount holds, but is under the weight guideline can I use the mount anyway?
We do not suggest  exceeding  the inches guidelines, and if you were to attempt to use that mount the warranty could be voided.

What if the MC60 arms do not hold and keeps tilting forward no matter how much I tighten the adjustment?
Level Mounts will need to send out new tilt arms at no expense to the consumer.

What if the MC60 arms, when attached, does not fit on the wall plate. The wall plate is a couple inches too short?
Level Mount has adapter plates to fix that problem that we can ship at no additional charge.

What if their mount did not come with dry wall screws, it came with hex bolts and hex washers?
Level Mount includes in our packaging only the hex bolts and washers, but if dry wall screws are needed please contact Level Mount.

How far do our cantilever mount extends out from the wall?
These mount sits about 6.3 inches away from the wall and extends out to approximately 22-14, depending on model, inches away from the wall.

Where do I find the specs for the mounts?
Level Mount has all of our specs on what size TV’s will fit and the weight these mounts will hold on our website.

What is VESA?

VESA is short for Video Electronic Standards Association, a consortium of video adapter and monitor manufacturers founded in 1989, whose goal is to standardize video protocols.>

The VESA Standard defines mounting interfaces, hole patterns and associated cable/power supply locations for LCD/TFT monitors, plasma displays and other flat panel devices. Comrac monitor arms are designed to fit this standard, to make monitor attachment quick and easy. The most common interface for VESA compliant monitors are those equipped with either a 100mm x 100mm or a 75mm x 75mm mounting hole pattern. Our arms attach to both standards with ease. Plasma and other large screens may be designed to the newer 200mm x 100mm or 200mm x 200mm configuration, or the large 400mm x 600mm. Some of our solutions are also suitable for these. There should be 4 screw-holes in a square pattern, 4mm in diameter, usually located in the centre or towards the bottom of any monitor. Fortunately most models from most manufacturers are now made to this standard. The holes may be recessed (and therefore a universal 75mm/100mm fitting will not be suitable for a 75mm VESA monitor), or may be hidden by the original monitor stand - removable unless there are associated electronics in the stand. Finding a suitable mount for your requirements should be a straightforward process in most instances. Common VESA Patterns include but are not limited to:75mm x 75mm, 100mm x 100mm,100mm x 200mm, 200mm x 200mm, 400mm x 200mm, 600mm x 400mm, 800mm x 400mm
